That's why we contacted plant-based recipe developer Elle (@veganbunnychef) for some of her essential meat substitutes. With them, you'll still be staying on track for your new diet, yet won't miss out on the taste and texture of your favorite proteins!

She says, "Maybe you started your vegan diet journey out of love and empathy for animals, maybe you're trying to care more about the planet, or maybe, you decided to make healthier choices for your body. So you see, the Earth is truly bountiful and having a plant-based or vegan diet does not limit your food options at all. In my case, it was quite the opposite! 

Switching to a vegan diet and cooking my own meals has opened my food options to a much wider variety, as I've gotten a chance to try many new ingredients I may not have otherwise if I stayed on a meat diet.

Changing your diet is not a restriction, but rather, an opportunity to reconnect with our mind, body, and the planet. May real food, health, and happiness be with you.
