Acne is such a personal journey for everyone. Being acne prone her entire adult life, Shannon has quite the knowledge about products that have actually worked to control and/or prevent both bacterial and hormonal acne.
She has tested a realm of products over the last seven years and is still testing new acne-fighting products frequently. Here's her up-to-date recommendations for products that actually work to clear and/or prevent bacterial acne, in no particular order. All products Shannon recommends will always be cruelty free!
Bacterial acne very manageable if you know your ingredients and what they do. It took me years to understand my skin and what worked for me, so the best I can advise is to trial and error products individually, have patience, and look to an esthetician or dermatologist if you need to.
Also keep in mind that taking care of your body can have an impact on your acne, not just the products you put on your face. Your skin is your body's largest organ - it needs love both inside and out for optimal balance!
